    The long hiatus after the Argentina meeting is drawing to a close, and the FIA WTCC season is about to enter its final sprint, with four weekends in Asia. The first port of call is the Goldenport Park Circuit in Beijing.

    Home advantage for the DS3 WRCs!

    Round eleven of the 2014 World Rally Championship sees the Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team take on their home event. The two DS3 WRCs of Kris Meeke/Paul Nagle and Mads Østberg/Jonas Andersson will line up at the start of Rallye de France-Alsace, the second event this year to be held exclusively on tarmac.

    First match point for Lefebvre

    Having won three of the first four rounds of the FIA Junior WRC, Stéphane Lefebvre lines up at the start of the Rallye de France-Alsace with a chance of securing this year’s title. Only Martin Koči, Quentin Giordano and Alastair Fisher are still able to stand in the way of the Frenchman. The champion will be handed a drive in a DS3 R5 at six rounds of the WRC2 in 2015.

    Khalid Al Qassimi and Chris Patterson (DS3 RRC) took the points for second place at the Cyprus Rally, as they moved closer to the top of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship standings.

    The fifth, penultimate round of the Middle East Rally Championship will be held this weekend in Cyprus, on a mixed-surface course on gravel and tarmac. Currently lying second in the championship standings, Khalid Al-Qassimi and Chris Patterson (DS3 RRC) will be looking for a win in order to stay in contention for the title.

    Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle showed real determination today to hunt down fourth place at Rally Australia for the Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team. Despite suffering a mechanical problem in the closing stages of the rally, Mads Østberg and Jonas Andersson made to the end in their DS3 WRC.

    Kris Meeke stays on the pace in Australia

    After fighting for a podium spot throughout the second leg, Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle were handed a penalty this evening, which meant they dropped to fifth overall at Rally Australia. Meanwhile, Mads Østberg and Jonas Andersson managed to move up into sixth position in the other Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team car.
