    Cleared for immediate take-off for the second half of the season !

    The Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team enters the second half of the 2014 World Championship at Rally Finland. At the fastest event on the calendar, which is particularly famous by its big jumps, the Scandinavians Mads Østberg and Jonas Andersson and the British pair Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle will be aiming for strong result in their DS3 WRCs.

    Fast track learning for the Juniors

    One of the finest events in world rallying, Rally Finland hosts the third of the six rounds in the 2014 Junior WRC. The line-up features ten crews, each with drivers born after 1st January 1986, all competing in DS3 R3s. Winner of the first two rounds, the Frenchman Stéphane Lefebvre currently leads the overall standings, ahead of the German Christian Riedemann.

    Winner at the last round in Portugal, Stéphane Lefebvre secured a second consecutive victory as he prevailed on the stages of Rally Poland. In a Citroën DS3 R3, the young French driver was joined on the podium by the Briton Alastair Fisher and another Frenchman, Quentin Giordano.

    In securing seventh position overall at the end of Rally Poland, Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle ensured the Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team held onto its second place in the Manufacturers’ World Rally Championship standings.

    Day two of Rally Poland took a heavy toll on the World Rally Championship crews. Mads Østberg and Jonas Andersson were forced to retire on SS14. Despite being slowed by a puncture, Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle are still in the hunt for points ahead of tomorrow’s short final leg.

    In a very international configuration, since the WRC ventured into Lithuania for the first time, both Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team crews consolidated their places in the top 5. After winning one stage at an average speed of over 120kph, Mads Østberg and Jonas Andersson grabbed third position in the overall standings for Rally Poland.
