    Fast track learning for the Juniors

    One of the finest events in world rallying, Rally Finland hosts the third of the six rounds in the 2014 Junior WRC. The line-up features ten crews, each with drivers born after 1st January 1986, all competing in DS3 R3s. Winner of the first two rounds, the Frenchman Stéphane Lefebvre currently leads the overall standings, ahead of the German Christian Riedemann.

    Winner at the last round in Portugal, Stéphane Lefebvre secured a second consecutive victory as he prevailed on the stages of Rally Poland. In a Citroën DS3 R3, the young French driver was joined on the podium by the Briton Alastair Fisher and another Frenchman, Quentin Giordano.

    Poland and Lithuania host the second round of the Junior WRC. Twelve drivers born after 1st January 1986 have registered to take part in the category in Citroën DS3 R3s.     Fourteen crews took part in the opening round of the 2014 FIA Junior WRC Championship at Rally de Portugal. French driver Stéphane Lefebvre finished ahead of the German Christian Riedemann and the Slovakian Martin Koci. The Briton Alastair Fisher, who led the class for eleven stages and set five fastest times, went off the road at the end of day two.

    Rally de Portugal sees the start of the 2014 season of the FIA Junior WRC, for which Citroën Racing is the exclusive supplier. Fourteen drivers under 28 years of age are due to compete in Citroën DS3 R3s. They will also be taking part in the FIA WRC3. The Junior WRC champion will win a WRC2 programme for 2015 in a Citroën DS3 R5.

    A new era for the FIA Junior WRC

    After announcing at the start of the year that Citroën Racing was to become the exclusive supplier of rally cars for its Junior WRC championship, the FIA has just published the rally calendar and sporting regulations for the competition.
