    Maiden win for Stéphane Lefebvre

    Fourteen crews took part in the opening round of the 2014 FIA Junior WRC Championship at Rally de Portugal. French driver Stéphane Lefebvre finished ahead of the German Christian Riedemann and the Slovakian Martin Koci. The Briton Alastair Fisher, who led the class for eleven stages and set five fastest times, went off the road at the end of day two.

    Citroën Racing supports the champions of the future

    Rally de Portugal sees the start of the 2014 season of the FIA Junior WRC, for which Citroën Racing is the exclusive supplier. Fourteen drivers under 28 years of age are due to compete in Citroën DS3 R3s. They will also be taking part in the FIA WRC3. The Junior WRC champion will win a WRC2 programme for 2015 in a Citroën DS3 R5.

    A new era for the FIA Junior WRC

    After announcing at the start of the year that Citroën Racing was to become the exclusive supplier of rally cars for its Junior WRC championship, the FIA has just published the rally calendar and sporting regulations for the competition. The FIA Junior WRC will be contested over six rounds, with the opening round of the season held at Rally de Portugal (3-6 April).

    Three promising young rally drivers selected in Abu Dhabi

    Organised by Citroën Racing and Abu Dhabi Racing for the second year running, the 2014 Young Drivers Selection is over and the winners have been chosen. After a two-day assessment at the Yas Marina circuit, Saeed Bintouq, Mansoor Bel Helei and Juma Al Falasi were selected by the jury. These three promising young drivers will take part in the 2014 Middle East Rally Championship in Citroën DS3 R3s.

    Cheers all round for Sébastien Chardonnet and his co-driver Thibault de la Haye, who have won the Citroën Top Driver championship. The French crew therefore earn the right to enter the 2014 WRC2 championship in a DS3 R5.

    Gilbert dominates, Chardonnet champs at the bit

    Day three of Wales Rally GB passed without incident for the Citroën Top Driver crews. Quentin Gilbert and his co-driver Renaud Jamoul dominated the leg, extending their lead over their rivals. Sébastien Chardonnet and Thibault de la Haye held onto second position and remain on course to win the title, whilst Jukka Korhonen completed the top three in the Top Driver standings.
